The Efficient Pharmacy Institute was founded in October 1998 by Wayne Morgan Caverly.
Following on the success of the Efficient Pharmacy Newsletter and associated Continuing Education (CE) lecture series, the Institute was founded to conduct research into improving efficiency and productivity in North American Pharmacies.
From its offices in Saint Lazare, Quebec and Burlington, Vermont, the Institute:
Publishes the Efficient Pharmacy newsletter
Provides Continuing Education (CE) seminars on Automation, Design, Aesthetics and Medication Error prevention.
The Efficient Pharmacy Institute (EPI) is dedicated to researching and reporting on issues that address the informational needs of community pharmacists as they adjust to a changing pharmaceutical environment. EPI publications provide pharmacists with timely practical information on how to re-professionalize their pharmacy by improving work flow, adopting new technology and developing the ergonomic design of the dispensary and its components.
